I'm Gonna be so Friggin' Rich, I Might Actually Give Street Bums Money! (Instead of the Usual Kick to the Groin.)
You might have noticed that my blog has a new name. This is to pay homage to my German heritage, and to my new job."New job??" you say.
" Read on, asshat!" I say.
So thanks to my good buddy Joel Foster (Remember him?) I have a job at PCS Cory (The potash mine.) I will be working underground like a dwarf and making butt-loads of money. Like $20 an hour money. Then after 6 months $27 an hour, with even more money as you advance. I am already drooling at the idea of getting a replacement for my old faithful 93 Jetta. (Can someone say '08 HEMI Challenger? (See lower post for pics.))
I'm also looking forward to the time off this schedule gives me. You work five 12 hour days, then get 5 days off. This should give me plenty of time to fix our newly flooded basement. YAY spring!! Oh well, I'll remake everything the way it should have been built the first time. Then hopefully no more leaks!
With a splash of dirty basement water, I'm outta here till next time!

Nice work on the new job! We should go golfing this summer sometime, since I'm back in town and we both suck (from what I remember, anyway). If you need any more $20/hr workers, let me know!
Congrats on the new job Lance! Are they looking for more people? (my husband could use a job that pays that well)
How's married life treating you?
No new jobs yet, but probably soon. Lots of guys are retiring within the next year and a half, from what I understand.
And married life is going really well. Only one fight so far and it was about going to Humpty's for breakfast. Fights always seem to be about stupid stuff, I find.
