Happy Anniversary

Well, barring any major foot in mouth action on my part or a nuclear bomb blowing us all up, come Sunday I have been married for a year. My review of marriage so far is 4 stars out of 5. I like it a lot. The only thing I like more, in fact, is starburst jellybeans. (The only thing to ever get a 5 out of 5 in the history of my rating scale.)
The plan is to go to the symphony on Sunday and most likely dinner at the Station Place. Our anniversary present is going to Vegas in the beginning of April. Should be fun, methinks.

In other news, my car has been modified since last seen. I have now got limo tint on the rear windows, a rust control module, a cold air intake and a bigger spoiler. Here are some pictures of said items.
Oh yeah and one annoyance. We bought a snow blower to deal with the 8 feet of snow we've received this year and after using it 3 whole times, the transmission wouldn't work. Turns out that snow will melt and freeze the transmission solid. Hmm, kinda a design flaw for something that gets used in winter, I would say.

Time Flies

Well it's like 3:20 in the Am on a Tuesday night and I'm staying up late because i have a night shift tomorrow, so I want to sleep all day. Nothing to do, and thought, "Hey I haven't blogged in a while!"

The beginning of December marked the end of an era. I ordered a car to be built and traded in the Jetta. I loved the Jetta, but it was getting on in years (It was a '93), and it's not the best feeling in the world waking up every morning to wonder if you are going to make it to work.
I ordered myself an '07 Pontiac G5 GT. Silver, with factory remote start, 6 disc changer, 260 watt stereo with a 10 inch sub and a heck of a lot more reliability. Not to mention, 175 horsepower, which is 75 more than the Jetta had. So, here are some pictures of my new baby: There might be new ones as I modify this vehicle. (I've already tinted it, more stuff on the way)

Christmas was OK. I had to attend a funeral for the first time, so that was kinda sucky, but not as sucky as I thought it might be, so that's a bonus. And the New Year has been awesome thus far.

Future Plans: Not much really. Asides from going to Edmonton to see a video game music symphony (Yes you read that correctly. Go here: http://www.videogameslive.com/ if you don't beleive me.) and a trip to Vegas in April. Hmm I guess I do have some stuff on the go...............
OH WELL, Toodles!!!

PS: Oh and Here are some wedding pics I finally got around to computerifying: Hopefully Marge dosen't get mad that I'm putting these on............ I think she looks beautiful, so I say they go on.

Blog This!

It has again been a long time since I've posted. Partially because I'm busy, and partially because nothing super exciting has happened lately. I now, however, have a few things to say.
I took Marge to Temple Gardens in Moose Jaw last weekend as a birthday present. I booked the 'Celebration Suite'. WOW. Nice. As big as 2 rooms, hardwood floors, a fireplace, king size bed, and a HUGE jacuzzi. (I just ran a spell checker to check if jacuzzi was the correct spelling and it suggested I change to 'Jaques'. Wow technology.)
We had a great time and had some good food. If ever in Moose Jaw, the Jade Garden is an excellent Chineese buffet with some awesome suprises, like the best pizza I've ever had. Also Nick's Place is a good bet. Lots of food, VERY reasonable prices and super tasty.

Other than that, about 2 weeks till my car arrives. It is still a random collection of parts in a factory in Ontario right now. I sure hope the Jetta can last 2 more weeks!! (Fingers Crossed)

And I'm going to try and get a Playstation 3 on Friday. I don't have high hopes, but I really want to sell one on Ebay, so I'm gonna give it a try.

Oh! And a video game review while I'm at it. I recently purchased Gears of War for the Xbox 360. Amazing Graphics, tense storyline, and the gun battles are awesome. It's always bothered me how in most shooting/war kinds of games, everyone just runs around and jumps and shoots at each other. How reality based is that?
I know if I was getting shot at, my first response would probably be to dive behind the nearest piece of cover I could find, rather than run and jump TOWARDS whoevers shooting at me. Thats what Gears gets right. If you don't use cover, you WILL NOT BEAT THIS GAME. Sure, your guy can still take a coupla bullets and still run around like a spring chicken, but the aspect of cover and tactical movement in a shooting game is a nice touch of realism and a breath of fresh air.
Until Nov 19th brings the launch of the Nintendo Wii and a new Legend of Zelda game with it, I can safely say that Gears of War is the best game of the year.

THAT IS ALL. Maybe I'll type again soon. See ya

Wow it's been Awhile

As the title says, it has been awhile since I last posted anything. Even longer since I have posted anything of significance. It probably has something to do with the fact that nothing new has really happened for a while.

Hmmm.... new things, new things........

I bought a computer and am now internet compatible. This is cool cause now when I have a random question like, "How far away is the earth from the sun?" I can go to Google and find out that the answer is......
Hot babes, adult pics, virgin, teen, whore. Hmmm. I guess you can't NOT find porn on the internet.
OK another check has revealed it to be about 149.6 MILLION kilometers away. Huh. Whodathunkit?

I am also going to buy a car probably next week. A 2007 Pontiac G5 GT. The jetta was a good car, but time for something that explodes a little less often. (Shame though, it exploded with German precision) Here's a pic of said new car:

Except in silver.

Other than that, nothing much new. Marriage is still going EXTREMELY well, so that's a plus. I'm just working on a Hollywood couple name. I can't decide between Large or Mance. Hmmmm.
Maybe I'll get US Weekly to run a poll.

Peace, I'm out.

MANLY MAN

I went to the CO-OP home centre today to buy some wood for my parents farm. There's something about hanging out amongst wood, drywall and bricks that makes a man feel like a MAN. Ahhh.................... I feel so............. manly.

So I've come up a plan to make a lot of money this November. I am going to go to Future Shop and reserve at least 1 Playstation 3, or as many as they will let me. They cost 700 dollars, but there will be a shortage of them, so I can probably flip them for at least double on EBAY. Last November XBOX 360's were selling for $3000 on EBAY. Thats what I call investing!!

And lastly.... N-SYNC's Lance Bass has said in the newest People Magazine that he's gay. SHOCKER....... Thats sarcasm, BTW. Too bad his name is Lance though.

NOW, DAMN YOU!

Like Losing a Best Friend

So I'm in the 8th street mall right now, munching on a teen burger and waiting for a haircut. And while it is certainly a good burger, it's not what I wanted. You know that, "Mmmm this is exactly what I wanted." good? It is nowhere to be found. What did I want? A Louisiana Chicken sub on cheese bread from Mr. Sub. I am not currently eating said sub because the Mr. Sub in the mall has closed.

WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING??????

Sorry about that, it's just that I am so sad. One by one, all the Mr. Subs in this city are closing. It is a slow and malicious process that I fear will one day make it verily impossible for me to eat a Louisiana Chicken sub without driving to Edmonton. I beleive that the only open locations remaining in this city are on 51st street and the one on 8th across from the mall.

Loyal reader(s), I give you a desparate plea: Support these remaining Mr. Sub locations. Or if you don't like them, tell me if I have missed any locations that are still open.

I feel tears coming on. I better go (sob)
